1 Introduction
FamilyWatch ("App", "Service", "we", "us") is a WhatsApp online status tracking service operated under Sri Lankan law. By using FamilyWatch, you agree to these Terms of Service.
FamilyWatch is provided by a Sri Lankan independent developer and is accessible via lk.familywatch.xyz.
2 Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to use this service.
- You must have a valid Dialog or Mobitel (Sri Lanka) phone number.
- You must not use this service for illegal purposes.
3 Subscription & Billing
FamilyWatch operates on a subscription basis billed through Dialog Ideamart:
Prepaid: LKR 10 per day, charged daily
Postpaid: LKR 300 per month
Charges are applied automatically by Dialog/Mobitel. You can unsubscribe at any time from within the app or by contacting your carrier.
We do not store your payment card information. All billing is handled by Dialog Axiata PLC / Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd through their Ideamart/mSpace platform.
4 Acceptable Use
You agree to use FamilyWatch only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Track individuals without their knowledge or consent
- Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or misuse the service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service for commercial surveillance purposes
โ ๏ธ Consent Notice: You are responsible for ensuring that any person you monitor using FamilyWatch has given their informed consent. Tracking someone without consent may violate Sri Lankan law.
5 Limitations of Service
FamilyWatch tracks WhatsApp online/offline status only. We do not:
- Read, intercept, or store WhatsApp messages
- Access WhatsApp media, photos, or videos
- Access your contacts' personal conversations
- Guarantee 100% uptime or accuracy of presence data
WhatsApp users who set their "Last Seen" privacy to "Nobody" cannot be tracked by this service.
6 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FamilyWatch if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app settings or by contacting Dialog/Mobitel.
7 Disclaimer of Warranties
FamilyWatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use this service. WhatsApp status data accuracy depends on WhatsApp's own systems which we do not control.
8 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.

1 Information We Collect
FamilyWatch collects the following information to provide its service:
Phone Number โ Your Dialog/Mobitel number, used for account creation and billing via Ideamart.
Contact Numbers โ Numbers you add to monitor. Stored securely on our server.
Presence Data โ Online/offline timestamps of contacts you monitor. Stored for up to 30 days.
Usage Data โ Basic app usage logs for debugging and service improvement.
2 How We Use Your Information
- To provide WhatsApp presence tracking service
- To process your subscription through Dialog/Mobitel Ideamart
- To send service-related SMS notifications
- To improve app performance and fix issues
- To comply with legal obligations
3 Information We Do NOT Collect

4 Data Sharing

5 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers located in Singapore (DigitalOcean). We use industry-standard security measures including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted database connections
- Regular security updates and monitoring
Presence history data is automatically deleted after 30 days.
6 Your Rights
You have the right to:

- Delete โ Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Unsubscribe โ Cancel your subscription at any time
- Correct โ Update incorrect information

7 WhatsApp Compliance
โ ๏ธ FamilyWatch uses WhatsApp's linked device feature to monitor presence status. This operates within WhatsApp's publicly available functionality. We do not intercept encrypted messages or violate WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption.
8 Children's Privacy
FamilyWatch is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via SMS or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10 Cookie Policy
FamilyWatch uses localStorage (browser storage) to maintain your session. No tracking cookies are used. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking tools.
